ABOUT MAGDA

My name is Magda and I am a certified yoga instructor. Yoga inspires me to be more mindful in every moment of my life. By integrating mind, body, and soul with yoga; I find balance in different aspects of existence.

I teach yoga in several gyms, and I also work with private clients. In my classes, I love to combine creative sequencing with doses of inspiration to help students deepen their practice. My goal is to assist them to understand their body, both on the inside and the outside.

Yoga has been part of my life for over five years, and my practice has helped me grow stronger, more flexible and fearless, both on and off the mat.

My hope is that you step off the mat feeling refreshed, nourished and inspired – just as I am each time.

What do I teach:

Hatha – Hatha is a very general term for slow-paced and gentle yoga and can provide an excellent introduction to the basic yoga poses. Hatha Yoga helps to free people from limiting beliefs, even those who feel they are too old, inflexible or out of shape.

Vinyasa – Vinyasa, which means breath-synchronised movement, tends to be a more vigorous style based on the performance of a series of poses called “Sun Salutations” in which movement is matched to the breath.

Strength and Balance – Very active type of yoga practice called ‘Power Yoga.’ It is a cardiovascular exercise and along with a healthy diet may help you lose weight if done regularly.

Yoga Nidra – Yoga Nidra or “yogic sleep” is a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping, the “going-to-sleep” stage. It is a state in which the body is completely relaxed, and the practitioner becomes systematically and increasingly aware of the inner world by following a set of (audio) instructions.
